Description
Selma must go to bed. Her mother helps her with her nightclothes and tucks her in. At night, Selma has a bad dream. Her mother teaches her an Arabic text that is meant to make the bad dream go away. She also tells her that Selma should think of beautiful things found in Paradise. The next day, Selma wants to tell her dream, but her father says that the prophet (Mohammed) said that one should not speak about bad dreams. On the last two pages, there are prayers that can be said upon waking and before going to sleep.
