Description

In the early years of the Revelation, Allah (swt) guided the best of His servants, ''the Companions'', through the call of His beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). These companions are distinguished by their goodness, devotion, and noble character traits. They were the first Muslims to believe in the Revelation and served as the foundation for the emerging Islamic community. The Companions are often compared to shining stars in the sky, each contributing in their own way to the spread of the message of Islam. Among these stars, some are more well-known than others, such as the first four caliphs: Abu Bakr, Omar, Ali, and Othman. Today we will tell the story of the third caliph: ''Othman ibn Affan''.

His real name was 'Othman ibn Affan ibn Abi al-'As and he was born in the city of Ta'if, six years after the Year of the Elephant. His mother, Arwa bint Kurayz, was a distant cousin of the Prophet (peace be upon him), which highlights his close connection to the Caliphate and the early Muslim community. Othman was known for his peaceful nature, his generosity, and his noble deeds, making him a prominent figure among the ranks of the Companions. His life reflects the ideals of Islam and his contribution to the community of believers remains inspiring to this day.
